Freely inspired by the Islender sweater from Devold, which I borrowed from my dad as a teenager. Based on my original HappyHands, I created this version using the same yarn combination, Lunt + Lett, as the original. It features the lovely classic ‘Islender’ cuff finish around the wrist.

The mittens are knitted with one strand of each yarn held together.
NEEDLES AND GAUGE
80 cm long circular needles, size 3.5 mm and 4 mm
If using circular needles with interchangeable tips, we recommend using one tip in size 3.5 mm and one tip in size 4 mm.
Gauge: 24 stitches in stockinette stitch using one strand of each yarn on 4 mm needles = 10 cm
